Pete Tong Announces US Tour

Kicks Off October 13 Hitting San Diego, Miami, Las Vegas, NYC, Chicago, LA and more

Pete Tong is unquestionably one of dance music’s biggest and most respected names. Across all corners of the globe his name is synonymous with the very best cutting edge electronic music and talent. His club and festival gigs from Ibiza to London, Brazil to Barcelona have become the stuff of legend. In addition Pete Tong hosts the world’s most listened to electronic music radio shows on BBC Radio One, where this year he celebrated 20 years at the station with a ground breaking 12 hour take-over of the station.

2011 has been an exceptionally busy year for Pete Tong, he kick-started his Las Vegas residency at Encore Beach Club in May, assembled Luciano, Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn and more for his annual Pete’s Pool Party in Miami, headlined Glastonbury’s dance tent, curated his own tent at the world-famous (and the UK’s coolest) Bestival festival, and continued his incredible run in Ibiza by taking his ‘All Gone’ residency to Pacha. Amongst all this he even found time to co-host a special electronic edition of NPR’s flagship music program ‘All Songs Considered’, re-launch his iconic FFRR label at Warner Music, mix and release two CD compilations, and launch the All Gone App. Truly a global ambassador, it’s clear that Pete Tong is anything but complacent, continuing to push boundaries and explore new ground for electronic music, even after twenty years at the very top.

In October Pete Tong will bring his unique style of party to America for a two week tour, that will see him hit eight of America’s biggest dance markets. The tour comes after he helped close-out the US ampitheater touring IDentity festival this summer. From hands-in-the-air anthems, to yet-to-be released limited edition white label bombs, the Pete Tong tour will treat America to an unprecedented snap-shot of the music that will set the agenda for the next 12 months, mixed by one of the most revered DJs in the world.
