RELEASE: Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs North American Tour

Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs Storms America
Debut US Tour Dates Announced For March 2011

Extinction be damned! The prehistorically clad young producer from Oxford known as Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (Orlando Higginbottom), has announced that he will be touring his mind-bogglingly unique and eclectic live performance across the US and Canada throughout the month of March. Orlando will commence his Jurassic journey at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, at the famed HARD festival, before continuing on to shows in Vancouver, SxSW, Miami, New York, San Francisco and more.

In an age where many young producers fail to rise above the constant repetition in dance music, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs has grabbed the music community by the horns, not only with his uncanny moniker, but with his inimitable musical style and focus; a superbly executed cross-section of electronic mayhem. As Orlando explains:

“It goes from 124bpm to 140bpm. It crosses lots of genres and sub-genres of dance music, and I don’t really know or care about all these genres, I think they’re a bit useless and unnecessary. It’s just dance music at the end of the day.”

TEED broke on to the scene last summer with ‘Garden,’ an invigorating house track with boy/girl vocals that paired catchy pop sensibilities and dancefloor melancholy, and quickly caught the attention of BBC Radio’s queen tastemaker, Annie Mac. Once the spotlight had been cast, Orlando proved that he had much more up his sleeve with his next original, ‘Household Goods,’ which received massive airtime on Radio 1 as well as a delectable new remix from Dirtybird’s Justin Martin. The plaudits have flowed thick and fast, with support from ID Magazine, Dazed and Confused, The Independent, Music Week and others. TEED is about to sign a major label deal and plans to release his anticipated debut artist album this summer.

Dance music is begging for more individualism, and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs delivers just that. Orlando’s live performance, featuring various instruments, glitter cannons, and funky attire will set North America ablaze with attraction and interest. From Los Angeles to Miami and Austin to Montreal, TEED’s dance-floor intuition and admirable outlook on the oneness of electronic music will bring fans of all sub-genres together in the name of dance (and dinosaurs).
